What We Do

The Out Professionals B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting is an extension of the OP B2B meetings that allows a proactive approach to entrepreneurs and small business owners for marketing themselves and their businesses. It is a regularly scheduled on-going interactive meeting of like-minded professionals who meet every two weeks with the common agenda of building a network of business prospects. The OP B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting was created to further assist professionals and their businesses to prosper in a safe and supportive environment of peers.

How We Do It

The structure of the meeting gives each member a chance to present themselves to the group so that the other members can learn about what that member provides in the way of goods and/or services, and then in turn, act as a sales force for that member. During the meetings business referrals are given, member presentations are made, business advice is discussed, and relationships built.

Who Can Join?

The group further supports individuals by eliminating competition. Only one attendee from each professional category is allowed in each group. The OP B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting does not discriminate in its membership, however regular attendees must be current OP Business Members in good standing.  The OP B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting is open to the entire LGBT community - and those individuals and businesses that support our community. Members initially agree to attend for a minimum participation of 6 months, thereafter renewing participation every 6 months.

Guests

OP B2B Networking Breakfast Members are encouraged to invite their colleagues, clients and business associates to attend as guests. Invited guests may attend a maximum of 2 meetings and do not need to be OP Members. Guest attendance is open to any business owner and/or entrepreneur engaged in a legitimate and ethical business profession. Guests may not distribute their business cards and/or marketing materials related to their business during the meetings but may otherwise fully participate in the OP B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting. They must pay for their breakfast costs.

If a guest desires to become a Member of the OP B2B Networking Breakfast Meeting, they must join OP as a Business Member, or upgrade their current OP membership status to Business Member.

Code of Ethics

1. Each Member will commit to punctual attendance at regularly scheduled meetings.
2. Each Member will provide the quality of services at the prices he or she has quoted.
3. Each Member will be truthful with the Members and their referrals.
4. Each Member will build goodwill and trust among Members and their referrals.
5. Each Member will take responsibility for following up on the referrals he or she receives.
6. Each Member will live up to the ethical standards of their profession.
7. Each Member will display a positive and supportive attitude with the Members of their group.
8. Each Member agrees to abide by all applicable OP by-laws, guidelines, rules and regulations.
